Re: Remote battery terminals
I was gonna redo an original toolkit but Honda SA is out of most of the bits hahaamaechizzle wrote:Lol, well I don't even have an onboard toolkit.
Really should have that of that instead.

There are chargers out there that have leads you can leave on I was told about that when I bought the bike, bit you can push start my NC35 if you have 80m of a slight incline(makes easier than running alongside!), I've done it a few times when I wasnt riding but was working on the bike and needed to be able to start the engine(my battery is dead after 2 weeks no use)

Then get a new battery and stop trying to add unnecessary bits of wire to your loom.brmoore wrote:I was gonna redo an original toolkit but Honda SA is out of most of the bits hahaamaechizzle wrote:Lol, well I don't even have an onboard toolkit.

I think you're mistaking me for somebody else, I never said I was adding anything to anywhere that was my first post in this topicamorti wrote:Then get a new battery and stop trying to add unnecessary bits of wire to your loom.brmoore wrote:I was gonna redo an original toolkit but Honda SA is out of most of the bits hahaamaechizzle wrote:Lol, well I don't even have an onboard toolkit.

Re: Remote battery terminals
If you do end up running leads off the battery to somewhere, make sure you put an inline fuse in the positive lead as close to the battery as possible. A short across the battery gets very hot very quickly....
