jeez the mirrors look like the only bit thats been above sea level :( looking forward to seeing the bottom rad later on. a restoration on this bike will give the new owner a great feeling of satisfaction when finished .

No, the only reason it was sold was because the wholesaler ran out of duct tape. :-)

Engine now running, amazingly quiet for 76,000m, but it was serviced with oil change each year at MOT time.

Servicing costs were low but total for duct tape, string and bailing wire were quite high. :-(

Just under £600 I think the auction ended at I believe.

What did the listing look like? Im damned if I would have paid £600 for it, both indicators appear to be held on with masking tape?? :shock:
