I have run a 2.3Ah durbahn one for a couple of years, they will crank your bike just fine 15-20 starts in a charge and will charge fine from the alternator. I would/will buy one of the racing battery Brand ones from Harris. Durbahn is an inspiration, but he is also like a french artist with customers and his products are very much extreme.

I have placed my battery in the front fairing, where the headlight would be, to avoid heat, since I had one battery killed by heat (was placed where the waterpump usually sits).

I really like the look of these batteries and with the wait saving advantages, as well as allowing space for a cbr600rr shock, i think this is a no brainer I have seen some really cheap cbr600rr shocks on fleabay lately, much cheaper than a similar shock for a 30/35. i know they are not direct replacements, linkage ratio's and stuff, but i still think it's worth it

i am very tempted to get one of these battery s , without sounding dumb i take t that they are a straight swap for the standard but you have to beware of heat so you don't kill them?

I think so pal, im going to mount mine under the seat hump and cut a vent in it.

im going to have to wait till next winter to buy one as my dymags set the girlfriend a little bit mad and I have been told if i spend anything else on it she will leave, at least it gives me time to save up for one and a gsxr conversion.

Well, I have had these sitting around for quite a while now. Bought them for my other hobby: remote controlled helis
I could make 8x12v 2300mAh or 4x 12v 4600mAh LiFePo4 batteries out of these single cells. But it is such a pain in there, soldering. Well, Some day...

I see the potential for a Group Buy, but those cells don't have soldering tabs, do they?
