cheers skipper.
well i been in contact with K&N. and there maybe a posibility of a K&N & NC30 being looked at next year, i emailed my interested offered a spare filter housing etc, and said id be willing to help work with them etc,
explained there a globally popular bike, but i guess with any company it comes down to sales and numbers, and i really dont know how many NC30s there are, but i have a filter on its way from them that should fit the mould
its early days and dont want to share much about it until i know the solution works as i dont want everyone forking out and it being a major cock up id rather take the risk and wait then reveal,
ive kept alexwithim upto date with this but seeing as im a little step closer i thought id share a little more.

Is that a stainless one banoffee, and how much was it?
they are nice cans and sound quite nice with or without baffle, i swapped mine as my can was tatty, and scratched, and the link pipe was shockin it looked horendous homemade concoction with mildsteel rusted to fuck!
tbh with the baffle in i didnt notice any difference which i guess was good but i only road it 10miles before getting to mot.
and i had a TYGA and i bet most people would have done the same when they heard the sound of it when on.
i had the choice of three exhausts, fuel, scorpion, & tyga and the tyga won.

Yep.
I custom ordered it as 400mm length with no Fuel badge.

I have got 2 baffles 1 short and 1 long, but i couldn't seem to get the bike running right with either one. I reckon i should get it on the dyno and see exactly what is happening.
I need to get it dyno'd in anycase so will try that first.
Thanks
Are you doing any days with DP next year?
I have not been busted for my system in EMRA roadstocks but that has a 105db limit..
I'd PM spike and see how often they tested the bike as I cannot see that it is such a solid rule - the other race bikes at the track will be running 105db and so when is it measured? All streetstocks before the race? hmm
I am planning* to race with DP this year in F400 (near the back) and also Steelframe 600 (near the back) - it depends on whether I flog this ZX7r and get a good deal or not. I want another bike so I can enter more than one class and get some mondo tracktime for the cash.
*doubt I'll manage a full season but I intend to do the new Snetterton and at least a Cadwell and an Anglesey.
Might even look at the NBC again - they have a race at Cadwell as well as Anglesey this year...
