I dont need new pads or anything like that, my brakes are perfect as they are, i wanted to know about what people though about radial calipers but its clearly a no, no, as its pointless putting them on standard forks - i dint think about it in that way but the lights are on & someone is @ home now. ha, ha!
The 6 pot thing was just an idea to be a bit different & move away from the common place (but very effective) SP1/2, Fireblade & 600RR calipers. Its not often you see an MV & its even less common to see some MV 6 pots on another bike.
Anyway, its no problem, my mind is @ rest & thank you for your collective input.

Once had some 6 pot GSXR calipers on an old NC30 that I'd put ZXR400 forks in. Now they did stop on a sixpence.

Go search for his posts...
He basically bolted a chunk of metal to the forks and fitted the calipers.

So, they are no "proper" radials..they are still bolted on axially although the calipers are bigger..
that Orange bike was lovely back in the day and has been mullered!
WTFF is going on with the sh!tty welding around the brackets to take the caliper mounts/brackets??! Obvoiusly had access to a mill - then worked out the brackets were too thin? Decided to build up the thickness with weld, & not good weld at that?? Consequence of the caliper breaking off doesnt bear thinking about....

Looks to me like 2 squares were removed, then threaded tube for the caliper bolts were welded in with extra thick welds to make sure they didn't snap

If you'd look closely at the bracket, the mounts for the brakes are solid round bar(20mm if I remember) to match the brakes mounting points, square bracket mountings against round mounting points, not aesthetically pleasing is it
Admittedly he could have been a bit neater with the weld
So next time take a bit longer studying the picture before posting the sh1t above
