well thats wot i thought but i couldnt figure out how to take the needle off the slider to put an extra washer
just re fitted the carbs and pannels and i forgot to turn the screw under the carbs that emptys the petrol out so i have to take the carbs off the bike again :x :x
will take the carbs off 2moro but it would be nice if there was some info about removing the needle
on the nc30 carbs theres a screw but i dont think there was a screw on mine :?
IIRC you remove the needle the same way as you do 30 carbs, philips screw driver inside the slide then twist. Im sure theres pics in the haynes manual. I always go up a jet size too if using a can or system. DONT drill the slides. 30 & 35 carbs are different beasts and using the 30 guide to mod your 35 carbs is going to end in tears.

Took carbs off and done up the screws, fired up the bike and it sounds a lot better :)
Lucky I can take the slides off while the carbs r on the bike

You use a bolt in the slide cover to draw it out (it's held in place by an o-ring), a bolt from one of the slide covers is the right size.

Bigger main jets could be good for the Tyga system (112 might be ok); have a look in their site, I think there's some reference to jetting the RVF on there; a quick check on the floats heights is also a good idea when you next get the carbs off, as well as a clean up.

U mean the tyga site ? Most ppl on this forum recommend 112's so I will stick with them.
The carbs were clean inside compare to the set of carbs that came with the bike lol
