cheers guys i will have a look over the weekend and see, i would guess its just a broken wire or something along those lines as it worked with no problems and doesnt want to.

i say have a look over the weekend, its f*cking cold in the garage, might take some heating in there with me if i have a look!

I think the sensor in the lower rad is for the fan and the temp sender is in the top right of the engine in what looks like the thermostat housing .But i may be wrong
