CMSMJ1, what do you use on your race bike? You're still on an 18 at the rear aren't ya?

I have 2 RVF wheels, 4 VFR wheels and a Bros wheel.. So I have supercorsas, inters and wets on the 17s and on the 18s I have BT090s in various states of wear..always good for TD though/

I buy squared off ones and kill the edges ;)
Thanks

Now I realise I should of gone down the 17 inch rear wheel route. The BT090's seem recommended for fast road and trackday use but the racers seem to need more.

BT090 are spot on IMO. I did my first racing on them at Cadwell last year. I trust them totally.

Can flog an RVF wheel if you want one...ahem... ;)

My Alpha 10's have lasted me 18 months and still a fair bit of life in them, Superb grip!

I've raced on Bridgestone slicks and BT090's, there's not much between them in warm conditions for an average rider like me.

A benefit that you can also get 090's in 18" rear, saves messing around with the ride height if you swap between 18" and 17" wheel.

just wanna say thanks to you all for mixed opinions, in the end i went for grip and got a pair of BT 090's, they do wear down pretty quick though =/ lasted me about 8 months? not too bad i guess, good for a thrash!, just ordered another set from http://www.motorcycletyres.uk.com some fairly cheap deals, £170 i paid for my set of bridgestones bt 090's, you get them fairly quick too!! but i advise if you order from them, ring straight afterwards and get it processed, or they seem to "forget" i waited a week once, and still no tyres, rang them up, they told me they hadnt even been sent off yet, so after a small rant, he sent them off first thing, i got them within a few days! hope this helps :)
