Absolutely, get yourself a standard airbox lid. I don't know who started the rumour that removing it enhances performance, but I've never known a bike to run very well without it. In fact, I know of bikes that have been sold because they didn't know why they weren't running right!

That'll be your main issue - and even more vital than the snorkel. Without it, the air entering under the headstock is more turbulent and messes up fueling.

hey i found my flap and put it on but only made a slight diffrence!
i also went on my mayday hastings run and on way there the bike over heated and just as i got in to hastings to park up it did again?
also it is still a pain to take off in first gear need to keep revs high!!
also noticed it wouldnt do more than 90mph??

iam thinking to just throw it in the shop and be prepeared for the price they give lol , i need it sorted ?

any one know any cheap shops in london area to sort it ??

So - what jets are in it? Shop will rob you blind and you might not get it back working..as we've seen here before.

I had this problem it might have the 110 jets in you will need to take a look !!

get them carbs off man!
Check the jets....
I'll not charge you £40 an hour for this advice..it is free....

i take it this is the standard settings ?
