Right, after a quick chat with Rick O, fitted dynojet 120 jets front and 122's at the rear drilled the slides plus a set of Rick O road needles. Carbs fitted also fitted an Ignitech module with modified stock. Just taken it for a quick spin. Bloody hell!! what a difference!!

Very pleased.

Next week going to fit my Nitron shock and full Ethos stainless sytem with a twin stack Mercury!!!

Can you give me a little more info on what these mods are? cheers.

The carbs and ignition unit. What was the bike like before and after? where did you get the mods? prices etc.

The bike ran before but was very spluttery, and the revs were hunting. I changed the plugs, air filter and sub filter gave the battery a good charge. It was better but still not right. Because its a project bike i was going to strip a lot of it down anyway. so took the carbs off re-jetted them, drilled the slides and fitted new needles. The module and all the bits ive bought has come from a member on here called Rick Oliver, a bit of a Guru on nc' and rc's. do a member search for him and pm him for a price list on his stuff. The bike now is a lot crisper and hasnt got that mid range flatspot which is what the module is designed for! havent tried it since putting on the other bits yet, hopefully will be a bit better!
To be honest mate im a bit of a newbie myself, i just read threads on here ask questions and read the Haynes manual on every job! whatever you need im sure somebody will know the answer on this forum theres some very knowledgable people on here.

Right fitted the exhaust twin stack properly this morning, there one or two joints blowing on the rear headers, i think its because of the springs being a bit loose, just ordered some more, and will try it again.

It is looking good man - tasty indeed!

ALl these new projects make the older ones (like my no9) seem very tired...

I guess I'll have to get crazy on it again in the summer...
