Piggin thing, had the carbs off again & the tubes look ok to me. tommorow if I get the chance I,ll take the carbs off a running fzr & swap them over, oh & recharge the car battery tonight......

Lol I know, was freezing cleaning windows this morning then stood outside in the cold with a bike that wont run, doesnt get any better

is that a little brass insert that you can see when you look into the carbs
if so ive noticed on no 2 and 4 carbs its pouring out take it thats not normal then if so whats the fix for it

yes thats the bit, its a longisg brass tube that goes thru the carb, not sure how much petrol should come out of them.

whats the fix for it can you get the parts still

Well its the same problem with the other carbs on, it just wont run & rev, it tries sometimes to run but thats it.

Boris I swapped the cdi over from a 3en2 as the 3en1 cdi has blocks of 6 & 8 connectors, the 3en 2 has the same 4 & 6 but also has extra wires coming off as well. The cdi I plugged in doesnt give a spark so it really has to be another off a 2tk I think .

Thing is the original cdi gives a spark so I,ve no idea why it the bike wont run, super compression, spark & fuel so I cant work it out!

I,ll probably end up selling it for spares if I cant sort it shortly.

if you've got sparks, air and fuel then the timing might be out? Are the coils talking to the right plugs mate?

pour a gallon of fuel on it and flick a cigar......that'll get it going.
