So this Thursday marks the beginning of the project, first up obviously is a tear down. Should I continue this thread with progress or begin a new one? I would also like to keep a running tally of parts I'm looking for, obviously getting them from a forum member is always better than random eBay listings, so I want to see if I can get a buncha parts here (or from forum sponsors / business folk) first before giving my $$ to some (even more) random internet person.

Only things I know for SURE that I need now are: New upper radiator, and new right side engine case / cover (the one w/ the "Honda" emblem on it.

I'll have pics coming soon :D

Starting a thread of your build might be an effective way of getting the parts you need, as they seem to generate a bit of interest.

Parts are easy to come by in the classifieds here, there are a lot of reputable members on this forum that I wouldn't hesitate in buying parts off. Like anywhere though there are probabyl a few 'unreputable' peeps lurking...

Forum member Rick Oliver has a stock list of new goodies you can buy for this bike. He'll send you broke in no time!
