thank you guys for closing the loop on this. JB brought up the question to me because his were differently installed and I couldn't be 100% sure. I just went back and checked mine and it had the right-side 2 carbs one way and the left-side two the opposite way! I randomly picked the right ones for the picture! So someone else had been there before me and put them back in differently. that is my story anyway.

Yeah mate it happens all the time when previous owners fiddle with the carbs!

The nc30 also has different tubes front and rear.

And they ignore the good old advice of working on one carb at a time.

I'm sure thats written in at least one of the manuals.

Hey Guys i have recently bought a RVF 400 1997 Model back off a "Small Motor Mechanic" and seems he has ran all rear Emulsion Tubes in the bike while i understand there to be a difference and the slinger holes hight as pictured earlier in this Thread. Dose anyone have part numbers floating around for this tubes front/rear would be greatly appreciated. Also he is running 108 Main jets all around , are the two main jets different that thread into the different emulsion tubes or are they all the same ?

Cheers Kurt
