I saw 140 on the speedo when the gearing was 15 38 and I was slipstreeming a mates sp1 but since iv gone to 15 42, which is sooo much more fun I havent seen much over 125

but from with my satnav I know my speedo has about a 10% over read (thats with the 42 read) over the reading on the satnav

duno about on track lol I tape the speedo up for obvious reasons

or maybe u just dont realise your 'nc30' has a 350bhp hayabusa turbo lump in, instead of a sub 65bhp V4

I'll liv with tuning on mine, it seems to pull well enough now i've sorted the carbs and their diaphragm issues. I'm sure quick balance would do no harm tho. They're a fun little bike and i'd love to have a dust up with an NSR250, i'd like to compare the two in the real world if you catch my drift.. :fight:

To the redline in 6th on the 24. (135mph'ish?)

Same as this one (fast forward to 55 seconds)

on my nc30 i had a genuine 116mph.it was restricted but as the restriction is not accurate it didn't kick in until past the 180kph mark.the speedo was showing over 120mph though but due to speedo error it was 116mph.

the majority of speedos are out by 10% there abouts anyway.my zx9r speedo is out by 7%.
