Do you have to bump start it now? Been thinking about doing this for a while. Looking forward to hearing how you get on with it on the track! Any idea of how much weight you've saved? Them flywheels look heavy enough. Best of luck with it.

I bet they weigh a good 2.5kg,
Ive kept the starter switch on which you can still use but it will take power out of your battery!,I will be bumping it out of the paddock but if you get held up on the grid or waiting area you might want to knock the motor off so kept starter for emergencies, just make sure you have a good powerfull battery, even think of carrying a spare!
Ive ordered a new bat from Rick O, which is more powerful for total loss use, and ive got a optimate 4 to take to race meetings so i can plug in the bat for a top up between races...
