The exhaust also has suffered. The collars and joint pieces had bad corrosion and needed alot of welding /fab work. First time using a TIG welder.

Cheers for the comments, i`m a director of a small tool hire company and as a sideline business i was wondering if there is a opportunity maybe for offering some kind of service restoration work as i really enjoy this kind of thing . I have access to lots of different kind of tools (blasting , tig/mig/arc/gas welding equipment) so can tackle pretty much anything bar powdercoating, although i know of and have used a good company recently. This is not an advert, like i said, i enjoy this kind of work and while the hire business is perhaps not as busy as it should be, i was thinking about diversification. What do you think? One of my other projects, check it out!! http://c90club.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=128" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I live in the same place as the italian village Portmeirion, a place called Minffordd nr Porthmadog. The shop is called Penrhyn Hire Ltd, its a family business which i`m taking over next april, well being made managing director. The builing itself has plenty of room for lots of toys if you know what i mean!
Brake rebuild started off with the rear caliper and yes the pistons where well seized. I had to butcher the pistons just to get them out the body. Enjoy!

I see, am ex ruthin and in the early 90's spent much time trying to get to black rock with the jetski in the summers.
happy memories.
moved from ruthin to cheshire in 2000 but family and friends still there so always back and forth.
