DESPERATELY NEED......
That little round plastic thing that sits on the throttle slide pin inside the carb. On the parts book, it's marked number 21 and appears to hold the needle thing in place. Looks like mine has gone AWOL, so my carbs are pretty much fucked without it!

do you mean the needle hight adjuster (goes on one of 3 positions on the top of the needle if memory serves me), i think you can get away with using a couple of c clips not the best fix but will get you going.

No, there's a bit that sits on top of the height adjuster. Basically, it's a plastic washer with a ridge in the middle that holds the spring in place. I'm not keen to bodge it, i'm not sure how it would affect the slider/diaphragm if the weight was off or something like that.

Good news! I just got an email from NRP in Manchester. They have just what I needed, and I can pick it up on Saturday at the Stafford show!!!

Looks like i'm sorted. Got my seats at the Stafford show on Saturday. They were £1 each (
