NC21 & NC24 HRC F3 parts manuals

Post by Cammo »

I recently got hold of the NC21 and NC24 hrc f3 parts manuals - exciting times if you're a vfr parts hoarder like me!

There's some interesting stuff in them.

I can only take pics of the pages at this stage, will scan them both at some time in the near future. Will let you know when this is done.

Each of the links is 1Mb, photslushbucket wouldn't allow them any smaller while still being legible.

NC21 HRC F3 parts manual (last 3 pages are updated bulletins to correct mistakes/omissions):

The NC24 F3 version makes 70bhp ;)

Also looks a lot like the NC30 with the left-hand exhaust and sub-rad :D just looked up the exhaust.. list price of £1200! :/

That catalogue looks familair tho, maybe I have one somewhere and didn't know what it was :S i'll have to check.

Not as familiar as the paddock stand though... I have one :D

Jesus christ tho.. 152-162 mains.. that must drink fuel ;)

Another F3 parts manual here (same as the one you have but it has some technical sheet too, do you have this?) for ¥500 it's probably worth a bid...

Yes, that's the same as the nc21 links above. I also received all of the update bulletins as seen in this auction.

Ah awesome..

Man 73bhhp for that NC24 ;) I woulnd't mind that...

It's ironic though... the exhaust system i'm trying to fabricate for on of my 24's im rebuilding looks surprisingly similar to that system :D I think I should apply for a job with HRC ;)

Very similar to the RC24 RG/RH one (of which there is one on ebay atm).

I do like the little header flanges though, very neat.

Yes, they're slightly larger than what the nc30 hrc setup uses (140-150). This is because the air jets of the nc24 carbs are slightly larger than the air jets in the nc30 carbs (only when restricted using nc30 hrc velocity stacks). This is the main difference between the nc24 and nc30 hrc carb setup, otherwise very similar.

Interesting also that the hrc nc24 carb setup uses the standard needles (8zc), and gets around minor midrange fuelling glitches by using large pilot jets.

So who's gonna build an hrc nc24 rep? I would if I could get hold of one for cheap (very rare in Oz)! ;)

It's mild steel.

With the reduction in cost of manufacture over the past decades it was probably a very reasonable price at the time.
