Front End Options for NC30

Hi,

Just wondering has anyone put a different front onto an nc30 apart from the nc35???

Just toying with what to do with the front.....something upsidedown neway....and nc35 ones are exp enuf

im sure someone has made something else fit

anythings possible but common options are zxr 400 and ducati. It just so happens i have a set of trick ducati forks for sale

There's no such thing as a cheap conversion. My RVF front end cost nearly £700.

Yokes @ £200
Adapter @ £80
Forks @ £200
Spindle, spacers and pinch bolt @ £40
Calipers @ £40
Clipons @ £40
Braided hoses @ £20
C/F mudguard @ £60

It all adds up. If you do decide to go down the RVF route I have a practically new adapter, bearings and yokes available.

yeah i can see ow that would add up alrite.....i might be trying to salvage a front end of something else and making it fit.....if not i might look down the route of making yokes to fit!!

not too sure bout duke parts....b a frigger to get callipers and all for them

If your interested i can get some pics for you, there 748 forks with racetech gold valves and springs setup for a 12 stone ish rider. Your gunna need pretty much the rest of a ducati front end tho, yokes, wheel, calipers, spindle etc. Not the cheapest option but riley and smev think the conversion is the dogs dangly bits.

dont know if i really want to go with duke parts to be honest just coz of the cost of whole front end...but sure stick up the pics anyway if ya have them handy

Anyone aware of a CBR600RR front end being tried? There's a 2009 full front end (wheel, bars, callipers etc) available locally for not bad money. Would obviously need mods at the head but I have a full machine shop at work so should be able to handle that so long as it's not a massive change. I'm not too wise on the geometry or load rating side of things though so would appreciate any comments before I consider throwing cash at it.
