NC30 Rear Shock Dimensions

Post by razor400 » Sat Nov 21, 2009 9:38 am

Does any know the dimensions of a stock NC30 shock, the reason I'm asking is I've found a GSXR SRAD shock goin very cheap it measurements are:

320mm long measured centre to centre at the mounting points.

Top mount 30mm wide

Bottom mount 30mm gap

I realise I'd have to do a bit of machining to get it to fit and also aget it set up with a revalve and new spring. But I want to make sure its the right length.

Cheers

What about the remote res? If it is on the top of the shock you'll have to move the battery..

I do remember on the "old" forum a topic about the RS250 aprilia rear shock.
There were several pics posted with comparison of stock NC30 rear shock with the RS250,
including all measurements such as total lengths (eye-to-eye), top and bottom mount etc.

Anyone have these data and pics to post on here?

I do not have the aprilia and standard NC30 rear shocks, as I sold my NC30 and parts.

I'm not to wooried I've got a short battery anyway so if I got to move it up then so be it,I can't afford £300 for a maxton or something like that so it make more sense to go for something of a modern bike andget it sorted. I am also looking at SP1 and 03 to06 CBR600RR shocks
