ZXR flatslide needle codes
HOwdy,
I've strayed from CBR land to ask a question...
Does anyone have a table that shows what the needle codes for the ZXR flatties equate to in length, taper, etc?

Greggo, all the details are in the keihin catalogue. I have plenty of photocopied spares, PM me if you want me to post you a freebie.
The last 3 digits refer to the taper, length of untapered section, and needle diameter by the looks of it:

Been there, checked that, not relevant.
The needles are marked 98D76
When I google these needles all I get are japanese pages referring ZXR400SP race bikes.

Hmmm.
I think maybe keihin needles from oem manufacturers were only stamped with the bike factories internal codes and didn't use keihins ID system.
