17'' 18'' swop
just wondering if you can interchange an 18'' and 17'' wheel on an nc30 if you have done the RVF Dogbone mod? wondering if I can have my 18 with a 92 on for winter riding (with the same on a spare front) and then have something stickier on the other set for track days or does that not work? cheers fellas.

you can run the shorter (higher) linkage with an 18, just means the rear is jacked up a bit (not tried it yet though).

Re: 17'' 18'' swop
I used to run an 18 and RVF linkage until I fitted the RVF rear wheel and if I'm honest, I never noticed any difference. Only noticable difference was going from 090's to SC2's.

To be honest I never noticed any difference either when I swapped from 17 to 18. Price of 17" wheels seems to have dropped a bit over the last few years.
How hard can it be?

No worries at all man. If you like, I'll set it aside for you as I'm in no rush to sell anything TBH. The monies are getting put aside for a new bike but that'll probably not be until the new year now.jowyvfr wrote:Cheers chaps, looks like thats the way I'll go then. @viper, sorry ive not let you know about the wheel yet, moving house at the mo so just holding onto funds for a few weeks incase i need some extra cash. once thats all sorted i will give you a definite on it. cheers mate

Sure thing. I'll need to get the front swapped over to the 090 so that the SC's are matching for you.jowyvfr wrote:yes please mate, and the tyres and RVF linkage if thats allright,
