NC30 clutch cable query - ongoing saga!
I have an issue with an nc30 clutch cable.
The end of the clutch cable is too large to fit inside the cable adjustor. Rough measurements are below.
Can anyone please confirm which one of these is the correct nc30 part (I'm presuming one of them is!) so that I can order the matching part.
Cheers!

Stick a flat screwdriver in the gap and twist it to prize it open a bitStickshift wrote:I have an issue with an nc30 clutch cable.

Re: NC30 clutch cable query
Thanks for the replies.
I had thought about drilling it out, but I've seen it done and it doesn't leave the adjustor very strong. Prising it apart might be an option, but I'll try and locate the correct part first.
This is a PITA, I've bought 2 adjustors from ebay now and both are this same size...

Re: NC30 clutch cable query
The adjuster on my bike had been drilled and it broke. I ended up getting an 8mm cap screw (6mm allen key head) and drilled a 4mm hole all the way through the middle and drilled the head out 9mm. I then cut a slot down one side of the screw. Instant indestructable adjusting screw!!!

That's a good idea!ozracer wrote:The adjuster on my bike had been drilled and it broke. Might give it a go.

There are a couple of NC30's being broke in the classifieds section...give the guys a shout as i doubt they would charge much for an adjuster

Re: NC30 clutch cable query
Yeah will do Al, problem I have is that I've already brought 2 nc30 clutch cable adjustors that don't fit (both from breakers on UK ebay).
I have faith that these were indeed nc30 parts sold to me (know of another dude that has had this same issue). There are 3 clutch cable part numbers to suit nc30's, maybe some are a different size?
Will contact the sellers in the classifieds before going to the effort of making my own I think.
