my thing is how the bike runs when you need a certain length of pipework to get the back pressure to scavenge properly.unless he has got an s bend in there i dont see it running that well.must be bloody loud as well.also the r1 forks i thought have a lot longer travel so if standard i cant see them helping it turn in nicely.
its a very good project for someone to carry on mind.

It will never 100 ponies with that pipe!

I'm sure it was on shitbay about 6 months ago with a polished frame and purple yam bodywork as that one had dymags as well.

it well could be the same bike . as for bhp (100) they are 93 at the crank stock so unless its had alot of work done and i mean alot to get it at the wheel , i think he is being economical with the trouth :sshh:

Does look like the same bike, I emailed the owner when it was on Ebay in July with the purple/grey bodywork (which I preferred) different owner/location to the one currently advertised.

I was going to bid - but one quick look at the bidding history and I quickly changed that idea - kinda obvious as Lloyd points out.

Done a few of these over the years - best we achieved was 88 rear wheel BHP - that bike had a rear dymag as well and a nicely refreshed motor all fuly sorted.

That stubby can will simply sap power.

Hmm I'm not so sure there was someone bidding that up, the winner left £1400 on it 2 days before the auction ended, I'd have thought you'd keep nudging up a legit bidder if you're going to do it, not leave a big bid on. :?:
I'm more concerned about why the under-bidder didn't get a 'second chance' offer. Guy seemed straight to me in his email though.
