What exhaust is this? (pics included)
Hi,
Always noticed that my bike had a different can than a stock RVF but now looking closer at it, it seems that the piping is different all the way back the the manifolds? Itook a little alumunium polish to some spots (as you can see
)and it comes out like a mirror. Also, even with the silencer in, its still very loud.

(The front pipes were out of view...sorry)
Is it TSR by chance? What would something like this cost new/ used? (not for sale , getting polished and going back on the bike in a day or two :D ) Just curious.
Thanks.

Where are all the exhaust experts hiding?
It's been a while since I had one, but it looks a bit like a yamamoto half system to me.

I reckon Yamamoto too - I have one of those cans in the garage..exact same weave and style.
The stubby flange is normally a big alloy plate though on Yamamoto though innit?
Either way, the style is Yamamoto and the can is too...so we are right!! lol

Here is what I found on yahoo japan...
TSR?
http://www.okshon.com/v.cgi?YYurl=http: ... /d85385183
The 0581 number matches the one on my can.

Not sure about it being yamamoto. I bought this full system off some off here called tim killmurray, although it looks like it has a different link pipe which says venom under the strap. The can is yamamoto too according to him.

Erhm...if you did mean that I might be the one that fitted such system? Then, nope not me! :D
I fitted an TSR titanium dual system to my NC35 recently with new titanium cans of a local manufacturer, and do have a full Ethos but changed the end can into a sort of hybrid (now with twinstacked carbon Mercury Race Systems cans + G-France link pipes on my other bike NC30).
@nas00: here is the answer where I'm thinking off for your system as pictured....I strongly believe it's an TSR half system
as the way the connection pipework is made, and also the sticker on the can 'shows' the old styled logo of Techical Sports Racing aka TSR. Note that the 0581 tag on the can is required for japanese legalisation of the can (a number that relates to certified manufacturer and is nothing more than an official proof for allowance on japanese road safety standard).
