CBR929 rear shock in NC29

Post by greggo »

Anyone know if the above shock will fit into the NC29? Ive had a bit of a search and found much info on fitting a CBR600 shock, but nothing on that one.

Ive resurrected this thread because the shock in the picture above is pretty much the one i have. - Mines supposed to be a cbr600x? one though.

We were looking to fit it to my nc23 and it looks pretty much the right length but its got the wrong end for the 23. it needs an inny where its got an outy, if that makes any sense.

Do i need to get a different end to the shock or does the GF linkage have the correct fitment for this shock.

I'm looking for one too as my petite 14st frame maybe a little too much for the std shock on the bike , I already have the spring under a lot of tension so need something with a bit more grunt

do you mean that this shock sits inside a linkage and the type you need is a fork type end lol ?

Yes, exactly. I emailed WP about getting one and they said that since they were bought out by KTM, they no longer do parts.
