i really know how to drag out this fork oil seal thing. . .
prob is was looking on evilbay for what price the seals go for on there & then came to the conclusion maybe i have the wrong size fork oil seals?

if so why is it that only the one side would leak?? when i phone my local shop they said i need the Ariete ARI. 047 that is what i have on at the moment but now i'm not sure if they are right for the bike? any help???

To reiterate the previously made point -

Use Genuine Honda Seals...!

51490-MN8-305

Should be readily available from your local dealer as they also fit CBRs VFRs and all sorts of other models.

as said before, they probably bad quality, damged when instlaling, or have pitted / scratched fork tubes.

make sure forks are clean and not scratched or pitted and use the proper honday seal.. will last many years if installed properly

ok that is fine i just need to make sure that i get the right part numbers as it seems that the dealers here actually have no clue what the correct parts are for the bike.

ok so i did the deed the otherday replaced the fork seals. went on a couple of awesome runs 600km put on the clock, & again the same 1 seal is leaking, so i reckon that the shaft of the shock is damaged. so if this is correct what would you guys recommend? is it posible to fix this? how? any help, much appreiated.
