I have an all-singing, fully adjustable Hyper-Pro rear shock, but is a bit more than £350. For a budget of £350 you'll get a mono-shock, with basic adjustment. I have the shock and and RVF linkage that will increase the ride-height too and compliments the shock ten fold. I can do a deal on both if you are interested.

Yeah, RS250's do fit, but it's still a standard road shock that requires modifying to fit correctly, it'll also need re-sprung and possibly re-gassed. If being done be a reputable dealer (K-Tech, Maxton etc) then you're nearly better to have bought a good 2nd hand shock that was made and designed for the bike with no modifying required, just fit, forget and enjoy. There are a few companites out there that do shocks for these bikes, Maxton, Penske, Hyper-Pro, TechnoFlex, Nitron etc etc it really boils down to how deep your pockets are.
