NC30 tank pad, which one???
Decided I wanted a tank pad on my bike, bought a genuine Honda real carbon fibre one and tried fitting it! ( note the word tried!)
after 45 mins effing and jeffing I stood back and admired my handywork.....crap! Looked like my 8yo daughter had stuck it on!!! Should of just fed the £20 it cost to the dog!!! No matter how hard I tried and no matter where I put it on the tank, the top piece would not stick to the curves on the tank, it bulged up on the edges and looked awful!
Has anyone managed to fit one of these successfully, is it just the CF one is too thick?
What do you all have fitted?

Which one?

My neighbour has the 4 piece HRC one on his CBR600RR, fits / looks fine.
Most people seem to go for the wrap-around (£4.00) one.

It was a three piece genuine Honda real carbon fibre one. The bottom two bits were fine but the top section just would not curve top to bottom and side to side without raising up and looking tosh!
Ended up ripping it off and using it to patch a hole in my shed roof, bloody good job it made too!
Really want a real carbon fibre as I'm adding CF accents to my bike. Has anyone used the motrax one, it's the only other real one I can find online

If theres any chance you can be swayed from carbon, why not try to find a foam pad? You'll thank me when you don't get cold nads
They seem to be quite hard to come by these days, but no doubt very cheap wen yo do find them.

I also have the Genuine Honda one on my CBR125 it doesnt fit right too, but as I'm not keeping it much longer, I am not bothered
