whats quicker an NC30 an NC35 or a KR1S
Ive just been into my local bike shop and got talking to bloke in there. He asked me what bike i had and i showed him mine which was outside. Although he said it was nice he commented that this was a slow bike in comparison to a NC35 and even a KR1S!!. I joked that it probably was with me riding it!! but he wasnt joking and started brow beating me about how nimble a KR1S was and how an NC35 was better because they resolved all the old problems with the nc30!! i went away feeling a bit pissed as id been cleaning my bike all day and taking nice photos of it!!
Any thoughts on this topic????

lol..it is the rider... simple answer.
There are fast KR1S out there - MJ43 races one and is bloody fast. Seen BSB 1000 Superstocker Dan Hegarty riding it and he was fast too..
NC35 - like the BMC bikes the RLR bikes and the G force bikes.... fast
NC30 - old skool, more cool and still just as fast.
It is all a case of how long is a piece of string an certainly horses for courses.
You could do 300 miles on the motorway faster on any 4 stroke .. but round Cadwell park it is all in the fleshy bit in the middle.

Yep, it is looking clean.
A KR1s might be good for 140mph, but its more likely to be found stationary while its being rebuilt. He sounds like the 'always can do one better' kinda fella.

Do yourself a favour and dont bother talking to him anymore. Line a standard NC30/35 and KR1S up and there aint much in it, Sure 2 smokes are more nimble than the V4's but take a look on youtube for foggy and whittham on the NC30 and RGV, now they dont come much closer than that i promise you.

A KR1S is not to be laughed at, they are awesome bikes and capable of beating an NC30. As people have said, it is of course down to rider talent.
I like both the KR1S and the NC30. The KR1S was fastest road going 250 you could buy and the handling is superb.

The magazines at the time were always keen to point out it would be much easier to make a 30 handle like 35 than it would to make a 35 go like a 30. The 30 is better looking.
A KR1s is faster than both, but very marginally.
