Re: shock absorber.
RS250 shock fits, mine has one. Needs filing to fit into the top section, and as Mark said, you'll need a new spring the standard one is far far too soft.
Bad photo but you get the idea...

Re: shock absorber.
haha
what are the specs of your spring matt? can you remember? oh, and thanks for the pic :)
and what did you use to file, and which part?
any other bits i'll need to get or will it just fit?
how much you after for your hyperpro vipe?
na my mate has a shocker from a rs 250 and he said he'll give it to me for nowt so if it just needs a longer spring and a bit of filing i think ill have it.Easiest option, buy my Hyperpro

Re: shock absorber.
I had a new top shock mount made to fit the RS shock, saves grinding away the shock. Yours for £15. I had it fitted and done 1 trackday then a maxton came up so brought that.

Re: shock absorber.
I think mine's an 800lb one, depends on your weight, I'm around 12 stone, an 850lb might be better for me really.
It's the section of the shock that fits into the frame at the top needs filing on either side so it fits in the hole, type thing.
Not a lot needs to come off so a hand file is fine. (Or buy the bracket above!)
All you need is a spring and a file, oh and a few spanners, job done.
VB is after £450 for the HP shock. Hmm, nice.

Re: shock absorber.
haha all sounds well with this rs250 shock to be honest lads!
i think i'd be better off with the 850lb one matt as i weigh just under 13 stone.
can't really afford the aftermarket shocks lads...rescession and all..
