didnt ask, I already cleaned mine, half a can of carb cleaner sprayed liberally over the carbs and throttle linkages sorted my sticky throttle out

Ibby, check out the throttle end first, there's a greater chance that this end of the cable is to blame.ibby4585 wrote: i think thats what mine needs as my throttle is really sticky!!
Check to see whether your grip is rubbing against the throttle housing (adjusting, modifying or spraying lube will wd40 will help if it is), or if the bar end is pushing too hard up against the throttle grip (take it off and check the difference).
The carbs will not likely be responsible for this problem, unless your carb springs are so gunked up that they don't return properly (not likely).

I did take the carbs off but to do the throttle you dont really, the return spring on the carbs was covered in gunk and crap so with the fairings off I just sprayed the spring with carb cleaner to remove the crap then 4 in 1 oil to lube it up, I also put some on the cables

Just to let you know. i oiled the throttle housing and took the end bar off. It appears the throttle grip was jamming on the end bar so i sliced the grip with a stanely knife and put the end bar back on and its much better!!
Thanks
