yep.

It looks good.

However, i'm presuming you want NC30 forks seeing as you done the yokes? These are a bad idea. there much shorter, your ride-height will be funny (as I found out) the clip-ons also go below the top yoke so will hit things.

Better choice is NC29 Forks as there also 41mm (same as NC30) but much longer than NC30 ones, infact there only a few mm shorter than NC24 ones.

Then fit NC30 fork leg lowers to the NC29 forks so you can have the 4 pot brakes :)

You'll obv need the mudguard / 17" wheel / discs / brakes / clipons.

The NC21 / 24 are interchangeable, the NC24 has newer revisions of stuff but the frame is identical.

I brought a 24 very cheap recently that my neighbour took to the dyno day for me, it's currently in pieces having the forks swapped out for NC29/30 items.

I prefer the NC24 rear wheel tho ^_^ Just fit a 140/60/18 BT92

Getting carried away on David Silvers as we speak ordering replacment bolts for all the allen headed crap thats been fitted to it by previous owners!

Did you fit the Axle into the NC24 hub or change the hub totally?

Thinking of fitting the cbr 600 forks but need some measurements before i buy i have been told as these are 41mm as well and will get the clip ons on top.Going to the hub i fitted the 30 axle into the 24 hub with a little f***ing about with the bearings and fitted the 24 caliper on may have a prob with the chain line but i am sure can overcome let you know how i get on Cheers.

Yes the CBR600F has 41mm forks. I'm not sure of the length though, probably similar to that of the CBR400 NC29 I recommended.

I know the NC29 forks are only about 5mm shorter than stock NC24 forks (plus the lowers are interchangeable with NC30 items and thus have better brakes, although I guess you could probably put NC30 lowers on the CBR600 forks? as the CBR600 has the crappy 2 piston sliding brakes that the NC29/24/23 have)

Are you using the NC30 40 tooth rear as opposed to the NC24 45tooth. your gearings going to be 'interesting' unless you change the gearbox too or get a bigger rear sproket.

Keep me posted though, its a most interesting project!

A fellow member on here had to grind a few mm off the NC30 axle to fit it into the NC24 hub.. what exactly did you do to the bearings? :D

just dropped on the forks and wheel from a cbr 600 going to fit them week end, thinking of fireblade calipers on them got a couple around in the garage some where let you know how i go on. going to the the hub the needle bearings outside dia of a nc30 is the same as a nc24 outside dia so it goes in but needs 5mm taking off the depth, the other roller bearings which are doubled up need to be replaced with single ones of lesser depth and a spacer needs to be made for the sprocket carrier. phew if you need pics let me know your email cheers for the reply
