Front Indicator Not working
Right hand side Front Indicator not working.
Fitted new bulb and tried the small wiring section(from bulb to first connector) from the left side just to check, same problem.
The bulb is fine when headlight is on - works as a dimmed running light but when flick switch to turn - nothing - back one is fine
What's best way to fault find this - could the switch gear on the handle need cleaning - is the connection for the rear different to the front of is it ok because the rear comes on and the fault in the wires themselves
Any help would be much appreciated
David

Re: Front Indicator Not working
would this be on an rvf and are you sure you have the indicator wired up the wrong way for it to work ?
the rvf used the front indicators as running lights that flash off when you want to turn, the bulbs are a little different and the holdrs have 3 wires going into them so you have to wire it wrong to get it to flash on when turning
of course if you have a vfr all i have just written is shite and please ignore me ....

It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Re: Front Indicator Not working
Yes, sorry I should have mentioned what model I've got - Doh!
It's a VFR NC24 and as I said all other indicators are fine. The front do act as running lights when headlight on as they have the 3 wires and double filament bulbs but it's the front right that doesn't flicker when I use the switch.
I used a meter to check last night and there appears to be 6v for the running light wire but nothing for the indicator wire - so not sure if it's the switch on the handle bar.
Cheers
