Failure...
My 'track' nc30 failed its MOT on not having rear pillion pegs fitted
I didn't even realise they were compulsory but apparently if there is a seat fitted they have to be on the bike!
Rear disc is only 3.8mm (the Min thickness shown on the discs reads as 5mm) yet he said the thickness doesn't matter, its how it performs on the breaking tests they complete... this is all news to me!
Yet, they didn't batter an eyelid at an un-baffled 100+ DB race 'zaust system....

Re: Failure...
Yeah you have to have the pillion pegs if a rear seat is fitted.
Mine passed without them, but I explained to the MOT tester when I went in and I said I could get them if he wanted but he said, "I don't see a seat, all I see is a solo"
The exhaust system is the testers discretion.

Re: Failure...
Mine passed with out them and it has a seat fitted! I wasn't even there when they tested it and nothing was said after, it didn't even get an advisory note! Bit puzzling if you need them to pass.

Some places I guess are a lot more stricter than others.
