Is the 35 linkage to increase the 30 rear ride height?

If so, what is a good measurment for both the 30 and 35, I see the 35 is simple to alter with a spacer under the frame top mount.

I find an increase of 15-20mm on the RC30 makes it steer to my liking.
Thanks.

Dave.

Yes, the linkage is to compensate for the 17 inch rear wheel - raised approx 17mm. If you keep your 18 inch then you get the benefit of this. Worth doing.

I also have a longer shock and so have a raise of 30mm or so. Miles better and more pointy which is what I like.

Yeah Dave it is, so long as you're still using the '30 rear wheel. If you use the '35 rear wheel you then need a shock with adjustable ride height to raise the rear. 10mm longer shock raises the rear by about 25mm from memory.

I have now ridden both my NC 30 and 35, and as far as I can make out the 35 fades at the top end but pulls better in the midrange , and seems more stable, but steers just as quick.

Which is considered to be the "better bike", I find both superb.

Dave.
