First track day advice please

Well my NC35 track bike died last time out, total electrical failure. I think it was related to falling off it (RHS) and the loom got pinched or something though.

Apart from that, er my wife had the speedo stop working and er I once forgot to do up the lock nuts on the gearchange linkage so the bar fell off (and even managed to do it by where the photographer was)

The last race I turned up to with the bike accidentally restricted over 5000rpm. Didn't find out until first practice!

I had overlooked swapping out the hrc cdi for standard one (running with no clocks), d'oh!!

Bodged the wiring up and got on with the day, but very frustrating as it's a problem I should have picked up before I got there.

I turned up at the track to find a nail in my in my rear wheel.

I also had the gear change linkage drop off as i was blating down the rivet stright at 110mph went to knock it down a gear only to find the selector had gone.......opppppppps
