Added on a simple on/off switch and put it on a bracket beside the choke. Removed the coolant tank on the RHS of the subframe to save weight and help in removing more of the sub frame itself.

after removing tank- do you fill rads full or leave some space? what about presure?

i am also interested in modifying my bike (nc30), will be used only for racing.

I used a little bottle cable tied directly to the rad, note that the bottle was carefully chosen, ribena bottles have a nice rim 2/3 of the way up that allows a cable tie to hold it a treat.



I would have removed the wrapper but my wife likes ribena. :-)

This serves as both an overflow bottle and a small res.

That's a bit overkill with the motor and the ram-air ducts are display purposes only, they don't direct air to the bike.

Fueling is integral, but I'd recommend spending the money on suspension first.

AOL, our 57k NC35 was giving 57.56BHP at the rear wheel with no work that I know of.


Just make sure the valve clearances are spot on as it makes a huge difference.

As for the air-ducts they're not totally pointless but all they do at most is duct a bit of cooler air into the vicinity of the airbox intake.

Apart from the little dip just after 10k isn't it.

Not quite so pretty below 6 and the fueling goes rather screwy (I think due to the worn needles) between 6-7, ah yes here we go (I must scan these properly one day rather than use photo's!), 57.73BHP this run :-)


That engine is sat at the back of our garage atm (complete with carbs) waiting to have 2nd gear fixed someday, only 'change' from stock was an ART race can. Was such a pity to have missed the dyno day would have been good to get a comparison for the 'new' engine.
