Re: Gallery
It started with a dremel and some solvol, but even I realised that the impossible becomes a miracle.
I ended up paying 30 odd quid for a polishing kit with mandrels to go on my bench grinder - bet 30 quid spent. got a few more mops and compounds since as my confidence grew.
Know what you mean about the black snot - what a shit job, went all girly and got some specs and a mask but when I used both the specs steamed up and I nearly took my arm off in the grinder. think I'll put up with black snot!!
The body work is all original with a crappy paint scheme. This is the only bit I havent done myself, Steve at Lonsdale Bike in Nelson is repainting back to the black and red scheme that it once was.
I cant leave things alone, and when its finished it will be mint. I'm not one to look at them in the garage though, it'll get used as long as there isnt salt around ( well, when its finished that is)
Might see if I can pick another up in the white/red/blue scheme and do the same with that. Dare say that she who must be obeyed wont be happy, still at least I'm not at the pub.........................yet!!

Re: Gallery
The subframe wasnt too bad so I just bead blasted it primed it and then used 3 coats of BMW titan silver that I had in the garage and 3 coats of clear coat ( all out of tins too!)
got to admit it came up much better tha expected, pity it'll all be covered up, eh?

This the NC30 that I got in 2007.

One year after, I finally got it up to this condition:

And now, exactly 2 years later...

Re: Gallery
My winter project.
I've done a couple of hundred miles to check it out, so once my garage is clear I will start.
