the plot thickens! ok so I have no low beam relay, but accordign ot the manual I should only have a high beam relay next to the instrument cluster, I have NO relay there at all but I do have a relay down on the right hand side of the engine

now this has REALLY confused me because the haynes says that if its uk spec it has one on the right of the engine and one next to the instruments, and on the JAP spec it has just one next to the instruments, so you can see why I am confused!

the low beam still doesnt work but oddly if I push UP the hi beam /low beam button I can get the dipped beam to come on, very confused now anyone got any ideas?

Little update,

despite the incorrect relay being there I have cleaned the switch pack and gear and had a general play about with it, (i do have a little bit of metal left over oops) and I have fixed all three issues I was having!

1. the main issue my dipped beam now works as it should, Score!

2. the main beam push button would stick on and not come out again I have sorted that

ok more problems, since putting the it back on the clip on the indicator issue has gotten worse *profanity* do the relays play up on these or is it likely that i have been ham fisted when screwing it back in and ive buggered it again :P?
