having a new direct drive washer dryer is quite a new novelty to me still (after using the laundry for years)

Heres another great tip then from your on-line laundry god - don't dry garage stuff in a condensing dryer about blew the kitchen up last time and the fumes were unbelievable stunk for days !

...........try getting hold of "nitrile" gloves instead of latex. They are not so affected by solvents. Beware, though, the fit is closer than latex, its kind of like plastic and less pliable, so you have to find your best size by experiment.
You hands will still sweat and smell skanky, but it's another option to grubby mitts !

I prefer barrier creams when dealing with the norm and oil etc.
No good if your hands are gonna be getting anything more than minor splashes with solvents mind, thats when gloves are necessary.
