You will need both front and rear 520 pitch sprockets mate

Lighter wieght is all it is, but that can only be a good thing. Im ditching mine for a 520 set. You may aswell drop a tooth on the front or go up on the rear. your lose a little top end but thats no biggy

If its gunna be a trackbike then definatly change the size of the sprockets, keep the 525 set for the road if you find the track gearing to low. I know its a pain but if you unbolt the swingarm and move it slightly you can swap the chains without splitting them, an abba stand with foot rest adaptors will allow you to remove it easily

sorry guys this might seem like a stupid question but what does the 520 denote, i read you saying the pitch??? pitch of the sprockets, & weight difference?? how does the pitch make it a lighter chain? sorry but i'm just a little lost.

the 525 chains are wider/thicker than the 520's

If there is less weight there the power transition is easier or something like that!!

Lots of the modern 600's and some 1000cc bikes run these (520) chains.
