Which reg rectifier to use
Hi folks,
I currently re building my NC30 from scratch. It's up and running now. It has the original reg rectifier on it and seems to work fine. Would you recommend upgrading it now or when or wait and see if it fails?
If upgrade is recommended which is the best and easiest reg rec to put on it?
Many thanks.

Re: Which reg rectifier to use
As long as the wiring from genny and uip to the reg rec is not showing any charred areas or dodgy conenctions then use what you have.
If you want to get one when that one fails..get a Yamaha one

The pic below shows which way the wires go around. If you get the green and red around teh wrong way, you'll blow the main fuse. It doesn't matter which yellow wire goes where. Probably a better idea to use insulated connectors than what I've used here (since changed).
These regs are about 4 times as big as the honda ones... good stuff!
