HELP ! please

hello guys

id like to know from all the guys here wat can cause a nc30 to break a valve
any and every cause you can think of please ?

Have you got a broken one in front of you?

What part of it is broken?

Normally over revving the engine so the piston catches it when it is on the way back up...

that or a broken gudgeon pin, but you would know about that :D (probably because of the hole in your engine)

Faulty valve spring or something? or maybe if the cam timing has been set wrong? Would a valve snap if it got over heated because the tappet clearence had closed up and the vale wasnt closing?

If the valve was not closing then the piston would rush up and smack it...

If it broke in anyway without dropping into the top of the engine you are lucky..but then the pieces would be rattling around under the rocker cover where the camshafts are whizzing around at twice motor speed...
