Re: Gallery
Rode it Sunday, firmer front end than my NC30 and very stable, similar power I think, but was not revving hard.jono400 wrote:guess who wrote:I was chatting to the owner of that RC30-rep NC30 (with carbon trinkets) up at Newlands today - small world, he mentioned he was out and about earlier. Didn't catch his name though - think he's a neighbour of yours Dave?
Got a picture off that bike you are referring to ?? sorry if I have missed it ??!!

Re: Gallery
sorry guys, not quite got the hang of posting these pics yet.
just waiting for body work to come back from painters - going back to original red / blk type 7 scheme

I have hand polished all of the original dull alloy parts, like bar risers, footrest hangars, rear wheel nuts etc, repainted the top yolks, forks, subframe etc.
All the calipers have been stripped, repainted with all new seals and pistons and full goodridge hoses. Every bolt has been replaced with either stainless steel or titanium pieces
What started as a quick clean after I bought it in April is now a full strip, replace, rebuild project.
Doesn't look like I'll get out on it this year at this rate........bugger no wonder I'm skint, grumpy and have sore fingers

Re: Gallery
Yeah nice work Demaliar, looks like a lot of attention has been paid to the detail.
Hard to tell in the pics, what colour did you paint the subframe, and did you strip it back first?
