the orange taps are a very "track" thing, the big orange one at 12.5k is the shift line, ie dont over rev it! and the little one will be dont go bellow this. whenever im on track I always think never below 10 and up to 13 ish, gona copy the tap idea now

o that speedo loooks like a standard one that has a mph overlay so it will have the restrictor, proabbly means your mileage is in km aswell.

Yep it says redial on it, what does that mean ? just that its in mph over kph ?

Guys anyone know how to take the speedo needle off ? it wont pull off ?

I don understand why you are taking it to bits to be fair mate - you can test if it is a speedo restriction by just removing the speedo drive cable and then riding it. You get your speed from the GPS anyways?

It's all in bits now LOL and I just want to check for peace of mind cos this is always going to bug me if I dont check and find out, I took loads of pics will do a how to thread soon, just hope I dont break it :lol:

If you are taking the needle off be sure to mark the drum and body as there is tension on it and if you don't put it back the same you will have far more inacuracy than you had before.Like this...

I am struggling getting the speedo head out of the plastic housing, whats the correct way to do this ?

Ignore me I sorted it I didnt think the green wire had to come out, it did and it came out, on with the show :grin:

OK.. man its been a long day, all done I think, and from what I can see this mod has already been done ? have a look at the pics pleaseeee :grin:

Last pic shows a green 1 and 2 on what would be the restriction part yet neither 1 or 2 come into contact when I move the dial round, does this mean this mod has been done then ? or looking at the pics is there work still to do ?
