Well I'm going to make you even more gutted now mate. I managed to pick up a set of carbs this week that had some very strange things done to them. 160f and 162r, standard slides, pilots and needles but they did have these little gems attatched to them

My sources seem to tell me that Full Spec HRC TT-F3 NC30's were pushing out 66bhp? Which seems a little low for me, considering Wikipedia is saying that UK spec Standard NC30's were producing 65bhp? I dont think my sources are correct. LOL

It's gonna be a lurker  I'm under no illusion as to the my lack of skill on a bike therefore it'll be a daytime MOT and track bike only and more than likely will only be used a few times a year.

I think the proper full on HRC engine kit is supposed to put out about 84bhp from memory but without the manual infront of me (I'm at work) i couldn't say.

Small update, nothing much been happening with this as money is a bit short but I got around to sorting out some mesh to stop gravel, insects, lizards etc from getting in the carbs.

Wikipedia is blag. Am sure the NC30 page had 180 degree crankshaft listed as well as other bblags... :wanker:

The HRC docs have 78ps on the front page as the power output. 8-)

I recall 84bhp  being related a long while back as the power of the RLR bike that John McGuinness did the 2002 TT on. avg 112mph? Anyone got the speed?

Anyways..that is a pimp moto and Old Gertie should be glad to have you as the owner!

Very nice Martin! Is the carb mesh stainless? I looked everywhere for some stainless stuff bu couldn't find any near to me.

Your bike is nearly at the spec of my racebike ;) :poke:

Yup, minter. I think the 85hp was at the wheel!!

Avg speed was 106mph from memory.

Cam, It's just that crappy ally stuff you get in fibreglass repair kits, seems to be ok. The heads are coming off on Friday, need to lap the valves in and get busy with some HRC porting. By the friday after next I'll no doubt need a new engine....
