Afternoon all,
I may have dreamt it, but I believe there is an alternative to the heavy steel lower yoke in the FZR400 3en2.
It may have been the TRX or something? Anyone know of something that will bolt straight in? It has standard 41mm forks.
Thanks.
Alternative lower yoke?

Re: Alternative lower yoke?
A guy on the PB forum was saying he changed the front end on his T'Cat as it's or iron and heavy. But he used a YZF750 front end with a TRX steering stem because the T'Cat's was welded in.
The YZF front wheel is wider than the 400 at the hub so the brake discs wouldn't fit ... you'd need the whole front end and with a 120 tyre it would slow the handling. I reckon the lock stops would be wrong too.
You can try NK Racing they say from £70 on their site with another charge for the stem swap, but I haven't used them.
If this is a road bike then I'd probably look to sort out the rest of the bike before doing this kind of mod.

The TRX lower yoke is ally, and the measurements are
41mm diameter forks
200mm pitch
30mm offset
no idea what length the stem is as it's in my bike! I'd imagine you could just press the stems out and swap them over. Hope this helps :)
