whats the best way to completely empty your tank of petrol, want to for storage of spare tank.

Take the tap off.

If its an nc30 tank, remove the tank, put the fuel tap to on and then suck on the vacum hose, job done.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

its a nc24.took tap off and gave it a shake and got most of it out.it had stopped coming out of the tap

Hi, i'd giv it a swill out with some engine oil, dont just dry it out, it'll rust like crazy as soon as air hits the bare metal inside.
But if you must dry it out, just leave it out in the sun with the cap off, the heat will dry it out pretty quick.

good idea about the oil!i wil do that.forgot to say that found a big bit of rag in the tank!prob while id been having problems with fuel starvation.lol!.cheers
