NC30 airbox
At the back of the airbox is a small area that has quite large pipes going into it from the carbs. Mine is just empty with a large hole in the bottom (looks all stock), however is there something missing like a filter or gauze or something? The fiche I am looking at is a tad vague...

Re: NC30 airbox
Is a small sponge gauze.
Only stops crap getting in the breather.
I dont bother with it on my Road NC30.

Re: NC30 airbox
sorry abrmoto but I disagree, all manner of crap can get sucked into your carbs through here and i believe Rick Oliver sells a sub air filter for about £1.50 which aint much or use some chip pan filter etc

Re: NC30 airbox
We are talking about different pipes here Im talking about the 2 pipes which come from the carbs into the sub air cleaner and you are talking about the pipe which comes from rear cylinder head into the back of the air box the crap I mentioned is sucked up through the hole under where the sub air filter should be but anyway the point is for £1.50 banoffee might as well buy one as im sure Honda didnt fit them for nothing anyway abrmoto I didnt want to start an arguement as I have read your other posts and I believe you do a lot of racing etc and know your way round this bike better than me I just dont think you read the original post properly

Not a argument at all, for £1.50 if you can get hold of one agree put it in, but dont worry if it aint there, thats all I was saying.
I am to would not get into a argument over something like that, chill my friend

Re: NC30 airbox
I respect and appreciate both your input. I ordered the part anyway as it's a stock road bike so thinking it was there for a reason. Thanks
